Arts Workshop Offers Many Enrichment Classes for Children

The Morris County Arts Workshop is pleased to continue to offer before and after school enrichment classes for students in Chester, Mendham, Tewksbury, and Mt. Olive for its 14th straight year! This year, students can start the day with 'Get Fit' classes before school--sure to get their minds and bodies moving and ready for a productive day of learning at school. After school, they can relax with classes in gardening, yoga, art, games, or cooking. Or, they can boost their physical activity with lessons in fencing, mixed martial arts, or basketball.

Students who would like to learn an instrument can sign up for group piano lessons, group guitar lessons, or request private music lessons for just about any instrument. Like to sing or act? Then try Choir, Tiny Theater, Theater and Broadway, or Chester Voices. There are so many creative options for kids who love music and theater. And middle schoolers with a camera will certainly enjoy improving their photography skills beyond taking selfies.

Explore pop culture in greater depth with classes like Everything Pokemon, and Fantasy Football. Delve into literature with Dr. Seuss. The very popular building and design game Minecraft is offered as a class for those interested in learning more and who enjoy collaborating on this game. Minecraft classes are still open in Chester and Tewksbury. Additionally, Drop-in Minecraft is offered every Saturday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 at The Hive in Chester for a little weekend fun.

Finally, math and science students will enjoy Math Enrichment or Mad Science as a way to challenge themselves to learn more about their favorite subjects in greater depth. Young investors can learn all about the Stock Market too!
