Barry Leads Mendham To Track Title
Mendham junior wins 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter at the Morris County Indoor Track Championship.

Winning continues to be a part of Mackenzie Barry's life.
Running for Mendham High School since she was a freshman, Barry has amassed a series of accolades, including a Meet of Champions 3200 meter title last spring (ranking her first in New Jersey), she won the Roxbury Invitational (2.9 miles) with a 16:34.4, the Bernie Magee Meet (3.25 miles) in 18:44.3 and the Shore Coaches Open Race at Holmdel (3.1 miles) in 18:55.
Barry was undefeated in her dual meet season and placed 3rd in the 40th Manhattan Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.

Now, the Mendham junior is being credited for leading the Mendham girls to victory in the Morris County Indoor Track Championship, according to a report from the Daily Record.
The Daily Record said Barry won the 1,600-meter run in 5:07.01 and the 3,200-meter run in 10:57.06.. Those wins helped Mendham reach a team score of 56 points to Mount Olive’s 45, with West Morris finishing third with 31 points.
