CHESTER, NJ— It's finally here again: National Pancake Day! Although best known as the day some chain eateries give away free pancakes, there are plenty of delicious, local pancakes to enjoy today.
If you're looking to celebrate with a pancake lunch or dinner (or both-- we won't judge) here are four Morris County restaurants that offer great pancakes.
Morristown Pancake House: It's right in the name: this joint specializes in pancakes. They offer your standard fare (like buttermilk or blueberry), but don't leave out healthy or adventurous eaters, with options like gluten free vegan pancakes or sweet potato pancakes. (20 South Street, Morristown)

Missy's Main Street Cafe: Missy's offers your standard pancakes, but does it well. It boasts an impress five star rating on Yelp, and has plenty of choices for diners who might not want pancakes for dinner. Consider Fido part of the family? Missy's has a small "For The Doggies" menu. (181 E Main Street, Rockaway)
Original Pancake House: There are more pancakes than you could ever want on the menu here, including pancake wrapped sausages and authentic lingonberry Swedish pancakes. For the less adventurous they also offer buttermilk pancakes, and plenty of egg choices. (831 Route 10 East, Whippany)

Bill's Luncheonette: Bill's closes at 3 p.m., so if you're considering celebrating Pancake Day here, you'll want to make it a lunch party. There's four different pancake options and as many French toast choices. Yelp reviewers rave about the coffee, but warn it's cash only. (455 North Road, Chester)
