Blue Ribbon Recognition Highlighted in New Sign at St. Joseph

Lorenzo Liu is proud of his school.

Liu attends St. Joseph School in Mendham, and was awarded scholarship funds in June.

But the seventh grader gave those funds back to the school, which led to the private institution being able to fund a new sign commemorating its recent achievement of being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon place of learning. 

Seventh graders gathered recently for a special blessing of the sign by Rev. Msgr. Joseph T. Anginoli, J.C.L., pastor of St. Joseph Church.

Founded in 1963, the school was awarded the recognition in 2012.
