Rock Band Takes Act to Lamplighter

Chelsea Carlson & the Black Dogs returns for Friday night show.

Looking for a great way to spend your Friday night in Chester? Want to take Dad out for an early Father's Day dinner? Then come to the , where local rock band Chelsea Carlson & the Black Dogs will be performing from 9 to midnight–with no cover!

Chelsea Carlson & the Black Dogs is a five-piece rock and roll band, combining the talents of vocalist Chelsea Carlson, lead guitarist John Graham, keyboardist Dean De Carli, bassist Robert Keyser, and drummer Matt Mikkelsen. Their set includes all your favorite rock covers, ranging from Led Zeppelin to No Doubt, as well as some memorable original music. Since they hit the local music scene in December, Chelsea Carlson & the Black Dogs has performed at venues such as the Sullivan Hall in New York City and the legendary Stanhope House. This band well leave you remembering the golden age of classic rock, while exciting you for the new things to come.

When Chelsea first took the stage at the Lamplighter last July as an acoustic soloist, she knew right away that she wanted to keep performing there. Now returning for the fourth time to this great restaurant, she's excited to see what this show will bring. All the Lamplighter shows have been different–and they've each gotten more fun and energetic than the last!

Chelsea Carlson & the Black Dogs will be performing from 9 p.m. to midnight. There is no cover–yes, you'll get to see this great band free of charge! It's all ages, but please be aware that it is still a rock show and there will be some minor language. The Lamplighter will be serving dinner late, so you'll be able to grab some great food while you're there!

But if you can't make the show at the Lamplighter this weekend–don't worry! Chelsea Carlson & the Black Dogs will be performing again on Saturday at Hat City Kitchen in Orange, from 9 p.m. to midnight. The band also has upcoming dates at the Stanhope House, Black Potatoe Music Festival, and Morris County 4H Fair.
