Cleo is looking for her Furever Home!

Adopt Cleo!

Cleo is about 3-4 months old.  She is rather unique looking with her gorgeous redish brindle coat.  Her body structure appears to be that of a Labrador Retriever.  Her mom appears to possibly have some boxer in her. Whatever she is mixed with she is stunning with a sweet personality to match.

Cleo and her mom were found as strays in a rural southern town in NC.  Something that is all too common down south since, unfortunately, in the southern states most people don't view their pets as family members.  As a result, they do not spay and neuter their dogs, they run rampant and reproduce like crazy.  This leaves too many unwanted strays with no place to go.  When we saw Cleo, it was love at first sight!  We arranged to have her transported to safety here in NJ with our rescue group in a nice foster home where she is receiving lots of love.

Cleo is well behaved, quiet and sweet.  With all the changes in her life, Cleo is shy, but she is coming around more and more each day.  She would be best in a home where people are home alot.  She loves people and needs someone with time and patience to love her.

In her foster home, Cleo gets to go on walks everyday & play with the foster's dog.  In fact, she follows the foster's dog around and she is more confident when she is with him. The foster dog is teaching her how to play and they now play tug of war togther.  When Cleo goes for walks, she is great on the leash and doesn't pull at all.  At bed time, Cleo's foster mom say "bed time" and Cleo goes into the bedroom and crawls up on her doggie bed and sleeps all night.  Sometimes Cleo sleeps with her back legs straight up in the air!  It's so cute!

Her foster family adores her & says she is very loyal.  They would love to keep her, but in order to save more wonderful pups like Cleo, we need find her a furever home where she will be loved and spoiled rotten as she should be.  Could it be with you?

If you have a furever home for this pet, please e-mail FureverHomeRescue@att.net and request an adoption application.
