Brookside String Orchestra Camp Makes Beautiful Music

The sounds of strings punched through the heat of the summer as the Brookside String Orchestra played their close out camp concert on July 11.

The ninth annual camp for string players ran for 10 nights in late June through the middle of July at the Brookside Community Church.

Mendham residents Karen Schaberg, Eric Schaberg and Loni Bach ran the camp. Karen Schaberg is the director of the Mendham Township Orchestra while Eric Schaberg serves that role at Randolph High School and Bach is the Sparta High School orchestra director.
