Burglary Attempt Thwarted In Mendham Township
The suspect fled when confronted by the homeowner, police said.
MENDHAM, NJ - A would-be burglar was caught in the act on Cold Hill Road on Saturday according to the Mendham Township Police.
According to authorities, shortly after midnight the Mendham Township Police responded to a residence on Cold Hill Road near Mountainside for an attempted burglary.
A suspect broke into a residence and then fled when they encountered the resident. Police said the incident is under investigation and are asking if anyone saw anything suspicious in the area or have any information that may be relevant to contact the Detective Bureau at 973-543-2584.
