There are thousands of wildflowers, many with “weed” in their name that are the most beneficial to our native environment.You may already have some great native wildflowers in your garden, but you might also discover plants you thought were beneficial are actually alien, invasive or extremely aggressive plants.Learn who the “Good” the “Bad” the “Ugly” and the “Questionable” plants are with Gail Di Domenico, Chairwoman of the Rutgers Morris County Master Gardeners Speaker Bureau.
About Gail Di Domenico:
Gail became a certified Master Gardener in 2009 and since then, she has accumulated over 2500 volunteer hours. Gail received the 2017 Master
Gardeners Award for Excellence individual award and a group one several
years prior as a member of the Speakers Bureau.She is the chairwoman and scheduler for the Speakers Bureau.Gail is a member of the NJ Audobon Society, National Wildlife Federation, Arbor Day Foundation, Home Grown National Parks, and has had her yard certified by National Wildlife.Gail has been an avid and passionate gardener for over 40 years and is hard pressed to find a plant or tree she does not like. She loves pruning, planting and dividing perennials and designing landscape projects.She loves to connect with fellow gardeners by giving lectures at libraries and garden clubs and other community groups throughout Morris County.Gail is a dance educator and teaches Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Theater dance to children and adults. She is President Emeritus and past Faculty coordinator for Associated Dance Teachers of NJ and has written a teachers’ training manual, “The Teaching of Dance - Fundamentals for the Dance Educator.”
