Celebrate The Past At 21st Annual Classic Car Show In Chester

Take a stroll down memory lane this weekend as Chester will be bursting with classic cars and trucks along Historic Downtown Main Street.

CHESTER, NJ — This weekend, Chester will be bursting at the seams with classic cars and trucks along Historic Downtown Main Street in celebration of the 21st annual "Classic Car Show."

The event, which takes place on Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is free to the public and features the finest classics, customs, muscle, special interest, antiques, pro streetcars and more.

Anyone interested in being an exhibitor must register on the day of the event on Perry Street between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. The registration fee is $10, and there is no need to pre-register.

Below is the schedule of events:

  • 8 a.m. — 10:00 a.m.: Exhibitors Register their Vehicles
  • 10 a.m. — 4:00 p.m.: Show times
  • 4 p.m.: Trophies awarded (Note: Vehicle must be registered to be eligible for trophy and present for the award ceremony.)

  • Best in Show
  • Top 5 Winner

DJ-Doc South will provide musical entertainment throughout the event. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local non-profit, the Cancer Hope Network.

After the show, take a stroll down Chester's brick-lined sidewalks, which are lined with over 80 specialty shops selling antiques, crafts, clothing, jewelry, home furnishings, pet products, confections and eateries.

The rain date for the car show is Sunday, May 15.
