Still Time To Get a Chester Pool Membership

The Chester Area Pool has approximately fifty memberships still waiting to be claimed for the 2012 summer season, which the borough hopes to fill on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Attracting new patrons to the Chester Area Pool already are the renovations the pool that were recently completed. The pool has been updated with an all-new floor surface and heater, and the pool area itself has a concession area for patrons. Additionally, the borough is looking to renovate the pool’s bathroom and shower facilities in time for the summer of 2013.

Borough Clerk Valerie Egan also noted that membership signups are not limited to residents of Chester Borough, and encouraged that residents of the Mendhams, Chester Township and Washington Township in particular are eligible for membership.
