Chester Athlete, Loving Father Dies at 54

Michael Segale worked in the computer engineering field.

Michael Segale’s athletic prowess at the scholastic level stuck with him later in life, as the Chester father thoroughly enjoyed sports activity of all kinds.

Segale died on Saturday at the age of 54, according to his obituary.

Formerly of Union, Segale was a standout track star and New Jersey High Hurdles record holder at Union High School. He became an avid snowboarder, skim boarder, and loved visiting Long Beach Island.

Segale was an expert in the computer system engineering and technical field, and most of all loved his family.

He is survived by his wife, Christine, two sons and a daughter.

A celebration of Segale’s life will be held Friday, Nov. 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. at William J. Leber Funeral Home on Furnace Road in Chester. Memorial donations may be made to NAMI or art-full.org.
