Chester Lions Club Distributes $9,000 to Local First Responders

Providing assistance to local organizations has always been a key objective of the members of the Chester Lions Club. This tradition continued during a recent meeting of the Chester Lions Club Board of Directors where the Lions designated $9,000.00 for distribution to local fire departments, including the Chester Fire Department, Washington Valley Fire Department, Fairmount Fire Department and Schooley’s Mountain Fire Department, as well as to the Long Valley First Aid Squad. We are thankful for the hard work and sacrifice of our first responders.
