Chester Native, Active Church Member Dies at 58

William Conover III was a member of two Knights of Columbus chapters.

While William “Bill” Conover, III only lived in Long Valley for four years, he knew the area well, having been raised in Chester.

The Washington Township resident died at his home recently at the age of 58.

Conover was an accounts receivable manager for many years before retiring, and was an active member of Our Lady of the Mountain.

Conover was also a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 10419 in Long Valley and Council 2450 in Hackettstown.

He is survived by three sisters and his former wife Lauri.
