Chester Native, 'Devoted' Friend and Family Member Dies at 21

Young man to be remembered for 'irrepressible' humor and love for others.

To all who knew him, Jonathan David Antonek had a great sense of humor and unceasing care for others.

The Chester native died on June 20 at the age of 21, according to his obituary.

Antonek was most recently living in Tampa, Florida and had an “irrepressible” sense of humor. He was devoted to his friends and family, had a passion for life and an incredible work ethic.

Antonek is survived by his parents, Linda and Matt, a brother, Stephen, and sister, Faith, all of Chester.

A Celebration of Jonathan’s life will include a visitation on Sunday, June 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the William J. Leber Funeral Home on Furnace Road in Chester. A memorial service for Antonek will be held Monday, June 29 at 3 p.m. at Mendham Hills Community Church.
