Chester Native, Great-Grandmother Dies at 94

During her time living in Chester, Dolores Bressler entrenched herself in the community.
The great-grandmother died recently at the age of 94, according to her obituary.
Born in Chester in 1920, Bressler was a school teacher at Far Hills Country Day School and, upon retiring, became a travel agent.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Chester, Chester Garden Club, and volunteered in the Chester Public School district.
Bressler was an avid gardener, knitter, and love spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Edward. She is survived by four children, 16 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Bressler’s life will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 at 11 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Chester on Hillside Road.
