Chester Resident to be Honored by Caldwell

Chubb Corporation COO and Vice Chairman John J. Degnan and President and CEO of NJM Insurance Group will be honored at the 38^th annual Presidential Scholarship Gala. The event will be held April 26 at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ. A reception will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. 

The Gala benefits the Caldwell College Scholarship Fund, which enables students in need to pursue their educational and professional goals.

Degnan, a resident of Chester, currently serves as senior advisor to the CEO at The Chubb Corporation. He was previously vice chairman and chief administrative officer for the corporation. He joined Chubb & Son, a division of Federal Insurance Company, in 1990, and held different titles including senior vice president and general counsel.
