Chester School Administrator Pens Book to Educate Colleagues on Technology

Black River Middle School vice principal joins Connected Educators series.

As faculty and staff at Black River Middle School continue to propel their pupils into the next level of education, one of the school’s administrators is helping spread that successful message to the masses.

Vice Principal Brad Currie has finished a book titled All Hands on Deck: Tools for Connecting Educators, Parents, and Communities (Corwin, $11.95), explaining how technology can be used by schools to engage with parents and community members in the ever-changing landscape of devices.

The book, which is aimed at school leaders, covers how smartphones and tablets can help schools achieve goals; the secret to getting and keeping parents involved; and how tools like Skype can connect everyone with the school community.
