Chester Schools Invite Community to Make 'Positive Choices'

Drug, alcohol, cyber safety program set for Oct. 27 at Black River Middle School.

The lure for students to try drugs and alcohol is a prominent one, and comes to children at an early age.

Because of that, Keith Dunn, a retired undercover agent for the National Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force will give a presentation to the community that explores cyber bullying, the growing use of drugs and alcohol, and myriad issues facing parents.

The event is being held at Black River Middle School on Monday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

Dunn, who has spoken to more than 1 million students nationally, started KDCOP in 2013 with the goal of bringing his knowledge to every school in the country.

The Chester School District recommends parents only attend the night session due to the nature of the program.
