The primary goal of the Meteorology Club is to teach students the basics of weather forecasting, according to BASF’s press release announcing the grants.
“Members of the club will also promote weather safety within the Chester community and conduct charity drives to assist victims of severe weather events,” the release stated.
The station will be accessible by teachers and community members for educational purposes.
