Chester Student Graduates from Rhode Island

Ariana F. Swerdlin earns communication studies degree from The University of Rhode Island.

Almost 3,000 undergraduate and 738 graduate students received their degrees at the University of Rhode Island's 126th Commencement exercises on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, 2012.

Among them was Chester resident Ariana F. Swerdlin who received a BA degree in Communication Studies.

Students who received the honor summa cum laude graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA ) of at least 3.7; students who received the honor of magna cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.50; and students who received the honor of cum laude graduated with a GPA of at least 3.3.
