“On February 22, 2021, Governor Murphy signed legislation regardingmarijuana laws in New Jersey. There has been a lot of attention on theaspect of the law that forbids police officers from contacting parents whenthey issue a warning to a minor for a marijuana or alcohol offense. A largenumber of constituents have reached out to their representatives to expresstheir displeasure.
