Christie in the Driver's Seat? Governor's Prompt Gets Radio Host Free Corvette
Questions arise about NJ's top politician helping news director receive "gift."

Ask, and ye shall receive.
In this case it was more of a prompt from New Jersey’s governor to help a familiar face land a hot ride.
According to International Business Times, thanks to Governor Chris Christie’s prompt to the Lester Glenn Auto Group during his monthly “Ask the Governor” appearance on 101.5 FM, radio host and news director Eric Scott has himself a brand new Corvette to cruise around in.

During the show Scott mentioned he doesn’t make much to interview the Governor, the report said, which prompted Christie to make an on-air plea to the Lester Glenn Auto Group – the show’s main sponsor.
While the discussion was playful, representatives from the Auto Group took notice, and showed up at the studio to present Scott with a 2015 metallic blue Corvette. Lester Glenn was proud of the gesture, filming the event and posting it to YouTube (video below).

The car is just a loaner, the report said. Scott has not returned messages from Patch about the acceptance of the gift.
