Downed Power Lines Close Chester Roads, Knock Out Power
Breaking: Multiple roads are closed as the storm knocks down power lines.

CHESTER, NJ — Multiple roads in Chester are closed Friday morning and hundreds of homes are without power as the storm knocks down power lines.
Cora Lane between Dogwood and Locust was closed around 10:45 a.m. Hillside Road was closed between Ammerman Way and Pleasant Hill around 11:36 a.m.
Rogers Road reopened at 3:20 p.m. after being closed for several hours.

As of 3:22 p.m., 1,502 people are without power in the Township, and 56 are dark in the Borough. JCP&L is expecting power to be back on by 1 p.m.
Homes in Mendham are also seeing power outages. 937 are dark in the Township, and 1,445 homes in the Borough are affected.
