Eric "Fluffy" Glover Fired from AMC Headquarters
A local celebrity has been fired after 30 years of charming visitors to AMC Headquarters Theater in Morristown.
After 30 years of dedicated work at Morristown's AMC Headquarters 10 theater, local celebrity Eric Glover's time as ticket taker at the movie theater has come to an end just as the holiday season was beginning. New Management at the theater told Eric to stop taking photographs with long time fans, and to stop his famous ticket machine impersonation. Eric is no stranger to difficulty in recent years, especially since he was only hired for part time work when AMC bought the theater from Clearview Cinemas in 2013, until a local campaign to make Eric a full time employee caught traction. He also lived in his car after paying for a relative's illness, but his community once again rose to the occasion by raising $65,000 for him in an online campaign. There is currently an online petition to encourage AMC to once again hire the local celebrity due to how beloved he is in the Morristown Area.
