When opening a door at a store or wherever make sure you look behind to see if there is someone there. If there is always remember to hold the door opened for the next person. If the person is up in years be polite and hold the door for them until they get in.

A person should always say “thank you” and you should answer “you are welcome”.

If someone does not say “thank you” don't get upset and don't say anything. Just remember you did the right thing. One thing to remember is when you are leaving the store make sure you look behind and see if someone is in back of you and follow the same procedure.
