CHESTER TWP. – Celebrate the change of seasons on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 4 to 6 p.m., with an early fall nature walk at the Bamboo Brook Outdoor Education Center in Chester Township.

Dr. Emile DeVito, staff biologist for New Jersey Conservation Foundation, will lead the relaxed stroll through the meadows and woods of Bamboo Brook, where the foundation’s main office is located. The walk is free, and advance reservations are requested but not required.

“This is a great time of year to observe the monarch butterfly migration and late season wildflowers,” said DeVito. “The meadows of Bamboo Brook are filled with beautiful fall asters, goldenrods, and many native pollinators.”
