Yoga Therapy
The emphasis of yoga class is on developing strong emotional intelligence, such as self control and confidence. Yoga  therapist will practice  asanas (yoga poses), eye exercises in  combination with controlled conscious breath, relaxation. and  concentration.  The asanas help condition the muscles and bring balance  to the physical body with flexibility and strength.  Breathing exercises  help a child learn to regulate his emotions and stress level. In yoga classes children  develop strength, stamina, coordination, motor planning, increase  concentration and focusing, decrease anxiety, learn to relax, improve  ability to fall asleep, learn to be more organized, and most importantly  learn to feel good about themselves.

Music Therapy
Music  Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions  to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship. Music  learning is used to strengthen communication skills and physical  coordination skills which are important for child's development.  Music therapist designs music sessions for children in a small group   using music improvisation, receptive music listening, song writing,  lyric discussion, music and imagery, music performance, and learning  through music while encouraging social participation.

Art Therapy
Art  classes will give students the opportunity to experience many areas of  art including drawing, painting, sculpture utilizing therapeutic  approach.  The class is supervised by Occupational therapist and is  based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic  self-expression helps children to resolve conflicts and problems,  develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase  self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight.

Sensory and Fine Motor Skills

Focus  of this activity will be placed on developing fine motor skills for  children to promote the most functional use of a child's hands.  OT  will focus on holding pencils and markers with a mature grip, drawing  recognizable shapes and objects, and practice of cutting out shapes.Children  will practice developmentally appropriate use of their fingers in  activities that help to strengthen their hand strength and coordination.
