Fire Destroys Morris County Family's Home; Fundraiser Launched

The Buczynski family was not at home during the fire on Monday, but one of their beloved family dogs died in the blaze.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — After a fire tore through the Buczynski family's home, they lost everything, including one of their beloved pups, Blaze. A fundraiser has been organized to assist the family in getting back on their feet.

Thankfully, the Buczynski family was not at home when the fire broke out in Landing on Monday. A neighbor noticed the flames and quickly called 911. First responders arrived on the scene and were able to rescue the family’s dogs, but despite their efforts, they were only able to revive one of them.

A GoFundMe campaign, organized by Stefanie Adragna, a friend of the family, had raised more than $16,000 by Thursday morning.
