Former Mendham Boro Firefighter Passes Away
Ronald Thomas "Tom" Crammer Sr. lived most of his life in Mendham Borough. He was 82.

MENDHAM, NJ — Obituary via Bailey Funeral Home:
Ronald Thomas “Tom” Crammer Sr. was born on October 13th, 1935. He passed away peacefully at home in Newport Beach, California on April 2nd, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer.
Tom was born and raised in Mendham, New Jersey and lived in Brookside until moving to Newport Beach ten years ago with his wife Gloria.

After graduating from Morristown High School in 1953, Tom served in the United States Army before joining the family business, Fred Crammer & Sons Painting. Tom was a member of the Mendham Boro Fire Department, the Pastime Club and the Masonic Lodge. Tom loved spending time with family & friends and playing golf, as well as fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed bowling on the “Crammer’s Painter’s” bowling team at the Pastime Club. He was active in his Newport Beach home neighborhood where he was affectionately known as the “Mayor of Miramar.”
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Gloria and four sons, Jeff (Melissa) Cramer, Ron (Sue) Crammer, Pell (Kim) Collins and Jim (Lorie) Collins, Son-in-Law Joseph Turney, brother James Crammer, sister Sandra Crammer Swanger, 14 grandchildren, Luke, Nick, Charlotte, Cami, Brian, Rachel, Kyle, Taylor, Riley, Pell, Derek, Olivia, Ava and Ivy, as well as three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Audrey and Levi.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Ruth (Menagh) Crammer and daughter Nancy Collins Turney.
Visitation will be held at the Bailey Funeral Home in Mendham, New Jersey on Friday, June 22 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10:00AM at Bailey Funeral Home followed by internment at Mendham Hilltop Cemetery. All are invited afterward to a reception at the Mendham Boro Fire Dept at11:00 AM.
