Fundraising Campaign Launched For Mendham Playground Shade Structure

All donations of $250 or more to Ralston Playground will be recognized with a name plaque included in the shade pavilion's design.

MENDHAM, NJ — The Township of Mendham is kicking off its fundraising efforts to bring a new shade structure to Ralston Playground.

Ralston Playground is well-known in the Township as a treasure that has benefited from the generosity of many people in the community. From the Finlay family's initial playground endeavor in the early 2000s to the 2018 playground rebuilding, "it has always been a community-wide effort," said township officials.

The Pastime Club has started the contribution process by donating $1,000 to kick off the fundraising campaign for a brand-new shade structure and picnic tables that will make Ralston Park and Playground a more comfortable destination for all future visitors.
