The Chester Lions Club is looking for local businesses to help sponsor their 15th Annual Oktoberfest Weekend.
Oktoberfest Weekend will take place on September 28th and 29th, 2013, and is the biggest fundraiser the club has. The proceeds of the event benefit many individuals and families in the community, as well as the local fire companies, police departments and first aid squads. Additionally the money from Oktoberfest allows the Chester Lions to give out $20,000 worth of scholarships to deserving students in the West Morris School district.
Outside of our immediate community, Oktoberfest helps us support such regional organizations as help the NJ Lions Eyesight Research Foundation, the Eye Institute of New Jersey, N.J., Battered Women, Building Homes for Heroes, Soldiers Angels, Operation Jersey Cares, USO, Morristown Memorial Hospital and many other worthy organizations.

We recognize that these are challenging economic times, not only for organizations such as yours, but particularly for those worthy causes that we have been supporting over the years. For this reason, we hope that we can count on your support of this important fundraiser. As usual, we are offering several levels of sponsorship. The more you contribute, the more we can help those who are in need and other worthwhile organizations.
Our annual Oktoberfest offers two fun-filled days of festivities including live entertainment, music, dancing, hearty German foods and the traditional German beer and desserts.
