Hero Cyclist Pulled Man From Burning Car: Mendham Twp Police

Police want to personally thank the cyclist-- do you know who they are?

MENDHAM, NJ — What should have been a routine bike ride through Mendham Township turned one athlete into a hero. A cyclist pulled a man from a burning car, saving his life Saturday morning. Now, police want to thank the unidentified cyclist.

Around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, a car crashed into a telephone pole on Burnett Road, Mendham Township police said. A cyclist stopped and helped the driver out of the vehicle before it became engulfed in flames.
