Hickory Tree Chorus presents Seasons of Love, Sat Nov 19, 3pm and 7:30pm

HTC is a women's barbershop chorus - Nov 19, 3 & 7:30pm. Guests include 'Round Midnight, Drive! (at 3 only), Mosaic and students from WMMHS.

Hickory Tree Chorus, an award winning women’s barbershop chorus, presents its annual show, "Seasons of Love", with featured guest 'Round Midnight quartet, at two shows, November 19, at 3pm and 7:30pm, at West Morris Mendham High School, Mendham, NJ.

Hickory Tree Chorus will perform love songs through the decades, including the title song, Something, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Beauty and the Beast and, new to the chorus’s repertoire, Weekend in New England and The More I See You, to name a few.

'Round Midnight is a popular, award-winning, men’s quartet that Deke Sharon, the musical director of the “Pitch Perfect” movies, calls "the barbershop gateway drug." Check them out at roundmidnightquartet.com

Other guest quartets are Drive! –Sweet Adelines Internationals’ 2016 Greater NY/NJ Regional champion (with West Morris Mendham High School Vocal Music teacher, Patricia Danner)-- and Mosaic, Sweet Adelines International’s 2016 Atlantic Bay-Mountain Regional 4th place medalist. Mrs. Danner's student acappella groups will also perform. Drive! quartet is scheduled to appear on the 3pm show ONLY.

Advanced, discounted, reserved seating tickets are available until November 16, through the Hickory Tree Chorus website --$20 Adults, $15 Youth – Tickets at the door will be $20 and $25.

Under the direction of Master Director and Master Music Arranger, Carolyn Schmidt, Hickory Tree Chorus is an award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International, performing fun-filled popular music in four-part acappella harmony, barbershop style. The chorus performs regularly, competes annually, and awards an annual college scholarship. Hickory Tree Chorus rehearses in Stirling, NJ, attracting members from many communities in New Jersey and Staten Island.
