Hockey Fans Prep for 'White Out' to Support Defending Champs

White Out, the office supply, is used to erase or eliminate.

And that's exactly what the 2013 Halverson Cup Champion Mendham Minutemen ice hockey team hopes to do Thursday night against sister school West Morris Central.

The opening face-off is set for 6:15 p.m., and fans will be conducting a "white out" and are encouraged to wear all white in support of their team. 

White Mendham Hockey t-shirts will be available for purchase at the door, adorned with their 2013 championship title and team logo. 

The Minutemen are defending that title proudly in the 2014 campaign, heading into the Thursday night tilt with a record of 9-1-3, according to nj.com, and recently cracked the Star-Ledger's top-20 teams in the state. 

The game is being held at Mennen Sports Arena in Morris Township.
