Little League Registration Opens for Mendham Ballplayers

Don't let the frigid temperatures and piles of snow fool you; baseball season is just around the corner!

With that comes open registration for Mendham Little League, which is online. The organization is volunteer-run and requires the participation of mothers and fathers in town to be successful each year.

Volunteers are needed in the 2014 season to be head coaches, assistant coaches, and serve in other capacities like working the snack bar and helping with fundraising. 

Mendham Little League encourages the participating of all children in Mendham, the organization said, regardless of financial situation. Boys and girls are encouraged to sign up at mendhamlittleleague.org. For anyone in need of a financial hardship request, email treasurer Nick Navarino at renabuild7@gmail.com. 

Evaluations will be held on Jan. 25 and Feb. 9 for all girls and boys registered to play in the Minors AAA and Majors (9, 10, 11, and 12-year olds).
