Local Schools Close Monday as Snowstorm Rolls In
First February storm expected to bring five inches of snow.
A Monday snowstorm's potential to blanket the area has closed most local schools, according to their respective websites.
West Morris Regional High School, Chester, and Mendham Township school districts all announced they would be closed Monday. As of 4:30 a.m., Mendham Borough had not posted an announcement on its website.
The storm is expected to dump up to five inches of snow on the area and could last late into the day, making for a hazardous evening commute. Find out more about the weather outlook here.
