Longtime Chester Resident, Grandmother Dies at 65

Marjorie Grahn spent nearly half her life living in Chester.
The grandmother succumbed to a battle with kidney cancer last week and died at the age of 65.
Born in Newark, Grahn lived in Chester for the last 32 years. She recently retired as an executive assistant for Aeterna Zentaris Pharmaceuticals.

Grahn is survived by her husband, Harris, of 43 years, a son, daughter, and two grandchildren.
A celebration of Grahn’s life will be held Thursday, Aug. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the William J. Leber Funeral Home on Furnace Road in Chester. A 10 a.m. funeral mass will be held Saturday, Aug. 15 at St. Lawrence Church in Chester.
