Longtime Chester Resident, Mother of 3 Passes Away

Cindy Kennington lived in Chester for 13 years, and is survived by three daughters and a husband.

CHESTER, NJ — Obituary via William J. Leber Funeral Home:

Cynthia “Cindy” Lee Kennington, 58, of Chester, NJ passed away on Friday June 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving husband and daughters. Cindy was born in Morristown, NJ on April 25, 1960. She grew up in Chester and lived in numerous towns and states before settling back in Chester thirteen years ago. Cindy graduated from Madison High School and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She greatly enjoyed music, financial investing, the beach, politics, and Clemson football. Cindy was a parishioner at St. Lawrence RC Church in Chester and had a strong passion for our troops and for animals, especially her ponies and Old English sheepdogs. Her greatest joy in life was being with her husband, three daughters and pets.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, John Kennington; three devoted daughters, Kaela, Baylee, and Kyleigh; parents, Daniel Dacey, Sr. and Joan (Goggin) Dacey; four siblings, Kathleen Rady and husband Duffy, Kimberley Grant and husband Roger, Kelly Lee and husband Christopher, Daniel Dacey, Jr. and wife Kelly; her pony Lilly; her dog Bella; and by many other loving family members and devoted friends.

Cindy’s Life Celebration will include visitations on Thursday June 7, 2018 from 6pm-8pm and Friday June 8, 2018 from 4pm-8pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (908) 879-3090 15 Furnace Road Chester, NJ 07930. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday June 9, 2018 11:00 am at St. Lawrence RC Church in Chester. Interment will be held privately by Cindy’s Family.
