Mendham Borough Mayor Condemns Menorah Vandalism
Christine Serrano Glassner said acts like this "will not be tolerated."

MENDHAM, NJ - Mendham Borough Police are investigating damage done to the Menorah in Boro Park and Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner has made it clear that it is unacceptable.
"Many of you may be aware, on Thursday night or Friday morning the Menorah that was recently placed in Mendham Borough Park was pushed over and some of the light bulbs broke," she said in a statement. "Earlier this week, when I joined with other citizens of the Township and the Borough to celebrate the lighting of the Menorah, it was sign of dedication to the inclusive spirit of our two towns. Any act of vandalism directed at any religion, race, gender or age should never be tolerated in our towns. This incident is being investigated by our Police Department in cooperation with the Sheriff’s Department, and all appropriate protocols will be followed"
Authorities are asking if anyone has seen anything or knows anything to contact the Mendham Borough Police at 973-543-1527.
