Mendham Creamery Closing For The Season

You'll have to go soon if you want one last scoop before the winter.

MENDHAM, NJ — As temperatures drop and winter inches closer, the Mendham Creamery is getting ready to close up shop for the season.

November 12 will be the last day of the season, the ice cream shop said on Facebook. They'll reopen in the spring, but an official date hasn't been announced yet.

The shop held its grand opening this summer, making it the only local ice cream shop in the Mendhams.

"The town was really behind us and cheering us the whole way," co-owner Joseph 'Bud' Murphy told Patch in July. "They embraced our idea to bring a business to town that brings people together, that gives our kids a place to hang out outside of school and sports. We've really been blown away by the enthusiasm and the response from the whole community."

The shop is located at 2A Hilltop Road in Mendham, and is open from noon to 10 p.m. daily during the season.
