Mendham 'Fixture' Jimmy Caruso Dies at 75
Resident was known to walk everywhere, offering a smile and a laugh.

A warm smile and a joke was offered to all who came across his path.
James “Jimmy” Caruso of Mendham died suddenly on June 10 at the age of 75.
He’s remembered as a “fixture” in Mendham, often seen at the car wash and the Exxon gas station. He walked wherever he went, wearing a bright orange crew cap and a smile.

Caruso made everyone he knew smile and often had a joke to offer.
He was a friend to much of the Mendham community.

A memorial service to honor Caruso’s life will be celebrated at Bailey Funeral Homes on Saturday, June 20 at 11 a.m. Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to cover funeral expenses are requested by the family, payable to Bailey Funeral Home, with “Jimmy Caruso Funeral” in the memo line.
