Mendham Girls Have Strong Showing at Track Meet of Champions
Two seniors, one junior earn spots in statewide competition.
Two Mendham High School seniors and one junior made their way to Toms River this past weekend, earning their spots in the New Jersey Track Meet of Champions, and performed admirably.
Seniors Audrey O’Neill and Sierra Tonneson were joined by junior Julia Mszanski at the event, competing in a variety of events.
O’Neill ran in the 200 meter race, placing 10th with a time of 26.71 seconds. Tonneson competed in the 400 meter race, finishing 20th with a time of 1.00.07. Mszanski competed in the pole vault, finishing seventh after clearing 11-feet.

The Mendham girls will compete in the Eastern States Championships on Tuesday, March 3 at the New Balance Armory in New York City.
