Mendham High School Re-Opens, April 27

Fire alarms are repaired and it will be business as usual on Friday.

After an unexpected electrical malfunction shut down Mendham High School for a day, students will be returning to class on Friday, April 27.

The repairs to the fire alarm system needed specialty parts that were not available until the afternoon on Thursday so the decision to shut down the school for the day was made on Wednesday evening.

According to West Morris Regional Superintendent Mackey Pendergrast, the system is back online and due to the mild winter, no significant change will be needed in the schedule.
