Mendham High Schooler Passes Away

MENDHAM, NJ — Obituary provided by the Bailey Funeral Home:

Ava Grace Halpin passed away on Dec. 23, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 15 years old.
She was a sophomore at West Morris Mendham High School.

Ava was a past member of the Randolph Gymnastics Team and the Mendham Magic Track Team. She
was a member of the Mendham High School Cross Country Team and the Indoor and Outdoor Track
Teams. She was also a member of the School Choir.

She was an avid guitar player and a music lover of many genres.

She was a ray of sunshine. She touched so many people and will be forever missed.

She is survived by her parents Stephen and Lorraine (nee Ousta) Halpin, one brother Aidan Halpin, and
her grandparents John and Josephine Ousta. She is also survived by her uncle William Halpin of
Bedminster, The O’Connell family of Morristown, The Francese Family of Short Hills, the Stozenski
family of Montville and the Freshi family of Livingston.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday Dec. 26, 2017 from 4-8pm at St. Joseph Church in Mendham. A Funeral
Liturgy will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am in the Church. Interment will follow at Hilltop Cemetery,
