Mendham Teen to Shine as Soloist in 'The Nutcracker' at Kean University

The holiday season is going to be a special one for Mendham’s Abigail Frasco.

The Mendham High School junior will be part of an extraordinary cast in the production of The Nutcracker performed by the New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble at Kean University in December.

Frasco, 17, and a member of the dance company since 2008, will also soak up the spotlight throughout the performance when she takes on four solo roles, including Dew Drop, Columbine, Mouse Queen, and Arabian.

Frasco will also be part of the Snowflake, Marzipan, and Spanish segments.

Performances will be held Saturday, Dec. 13 at 2 and 7 p.m., and again on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $30 for standard seats; $20 for student, seniors and children.
