MENDHAM, NJ - This Saturday is a chance to see the Mendham Township Committee and town staff get all wet as they open Brookside Beach with a Cannonball contest.

At 2 p.m. everyone is invited to attend this grand opening for the summer of 2020, officials said, noting that this is going to be a low key opening where everyone in the community will be welcome to Brookside Beach to watch members of the Township Committee and Township Staff participate in a cannonball contest.

The beach opens after the contest and there will also be music from 2-4 p.m.
