The closure comes at the same time Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order 118, closing all state parks and forests and county parks to further social distancing measures.

"This was not an easy decision to make, but it is in the best interest of the health and safety of Mendham Township residents," Neibart said. "We will be monitoring other areas in the Township, and we reserve the right to close additional parks and trails if deemed necessary."
