Mendham's Finest Set to Gather for Annual 'Mendies' Ceremony

There’s Mendham Township, and there’s Mendham Borough. Two different towns, but for one night in April, they’re one community.

The eighth annual Mendies Awards ceremony is officially set for April 10 at the Sisters of Christian Charity in Brookside, and will honor the class of 2015. Names of this year’s nominees have not yet been released.

Tickets for the event are $50 and can be purchased through the Mendham TV Board or at participating sponsors, which include Mendham Capital Management, Somerset Hills Bank, the Lakeland Bank, and the Brookside Post Office.

Prices will increase to $60 after April 1.

The 2014 event was a sell out, so attendees are urged to purchase their tickets early.

The Mendies are sponsored by Mendham TV and designed to recognized the best of the Mendhams and bring residents from the township and borough together for a night of fun and celebration.

A “Red Carpet” walk, reception, awards ceremony, buffet dinner, adult beverages, and music are all part of the event. There will also be a silent auction to benefit the television station.
