Minutemen Trounce Mt. Olive in Carpluk's Coaching Return

Bill Carpluk’s return to the Mendham Minutemen football team’s sidelines Friday was meant to be the start of a new era. 

If the outcome of the home opener is any indication as to what’s in store for the football team this season, Mendham will be a team to watch.

The Minutemen wasted no time, scoring 20 points in the first half en route to a 26-0 drubbing of the Mt. Olive Marauders, according to nj.com.

Mendham’s defense came up big, swiping two interceptions in the game, the report said, and quarterback Jack Horan ran for a score.

Next up, the Minutemen travel to Delbarton to face the Green Wave on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m.
